Open House and Tea Party

Mālaʻai hosted a garden “open house” which brought more than 70 visitors to the garden. It served as an opportunity for our community members to see the garden and meet our team. We had many visitors from current students and families, to alumni, community volunteers, friends from across the county and more. There were delicious garden fresh snacks and treats, garden tours for newcomers and lots of conversation. Our first “real” event in the garden since Covid, it served as an opportunity to open back up to the community, and to share some of the awesome work we do with our students. We hope to have more events like this in the future and we look forward to seeing you there. Aloha from the Mālaʻai Team and Mahalo to all who came!!
