Expanding Programs
We are expanding our afterschool programs to match interest expressed by students and we are welcoming new partnerships that are developing beyond our regular classes.
Monday’s after-school garden club is well underway with a super exuberant group of 6th,7th and 8th graders.
We will be starting a new art in the garden afterschool class in collaboration with local artist Helen Naho’opi’i on Thursday, October 27th.
On Wednesday, October 26th we will start a cooking afterschool program geared towards students and their ohana in collaboration with CTAHR Extension Agent Marielle Hampton.
Partnership with our school’s Boy to Men Club and mentorship program - utilizing the garden space for meetings and activities.
