Mālaʻai Garden Club

We closed out our semester having hosted close to 10 Monday afterschool programs with our amazing Garden Club. They have taken a liking and talent to cooking and creating delicious meals from the garden to the table! Our students are very interested in the world of food and preparation of food… and eating it of course! From simple snacks like sauteed green beans to more complex flavors like potato leek soup, we encourage our students to try new foods and explore new culinary flavors! Foods made this semester include, potato leek soup, crepes, apple compote, herb butter, sauteed green beans, Stir-fry radish and greens, home-pressed tortillas and tacos, guava jam and summer rolls. Check out the summer rolls recipe on our recipe blog!
