Mahalo To Our Volunteers
Our volunteers play a critical role in the sustainability of our garden by being advocates and supporters of ours in the community and in the garden. From daily classes, to special projects check out all the amazing work our volunteers do.
Thank you to Leanne Cohen , Kathy Brinton, Debbie McAlister and Marilynn Fitzgerald who have all been long time volunteers of the garden for weekly classes.
Hermine Baker and Neil Thomas- Hermine is a weekly class volunteer who is endlessly generous with her time and hard work. She has been volunteering for more then 6 years now!!! Neil and Hermine are generously supplying Mala`ai with some laying hens! It will be very exciting to have chickens in the garden again, the students have been asking about chickens for some time now!!
Nicki and Hal Burchard- Nicki volunteers with our after school garden club teaching them how to make delicious dishes like French onion soup! She and Hal put together a beautiful new garden shed last summer.
Braydon Jadulang- Braydon is an amazing WMS Alumni who volunteers his time on a regular basis. He participated this summer in our summer program as an assistant. He helps water the garden, host workshops and has helped create videos in the past.
