We love the Cooking with Curiosity curriculum created by Edible Schoolyard. These lessons are packed with short instructional videos and flexible recipes, and kitchen skills like approximation and ingredient swapping.

City Sprouts has also created a great series of videos on garden activities to do at home. They align with their Early Start in Science Modules, garden curriculum for grades 2-5, but the videos are for all ages!

The garden is a great place to explore all kinds of different interests. From biology to cooking, art to engineering, ʻāina based programs provide an opportunity to practice many different skills. Our video series Exploring STEM Careers in Hawaii is rolling out and highlights careers based in science, technology, engineering, and math that all have an ʻāina component. Check out these great resources for learning more about viable careers in Hawaiʻi.
