Coast-To-Coast Garden Tour: Growing School Gardens - 2021

Aloha and join us for our segment of the first-ever cross-country Coast-to-Coast School Garden Tour! Mala'ai: The Culinary Garden of Waimea Middle School was selected along with six other schools from across the country to participate in this educational and exciting virtual program. School Gardens provide more than just a learning environment, they help our youth learn about the importance of caring for land and nature, and how in turn it cares for us.

Our students share about how we integrate culture into our garden environment, and what the garden means to them. Enjoy!
