Saving seed from calendula flowers

Calendula, or Calendula officinalis, is in the daisy family (Asteraceae) and has many uses. The petals can be eaten fresh in salads, you can dry the flowers and use them in a lotion or salve, or you can boil them and use as a light natural dye. They’re a great flower because they pollinate very easily and produce an abundance of seeds. Once you plant them somewhere they will probably keep coming back!
