Refreshing calamansi-aid

Calamansi (calamondin/kalamansi) is a citrus tree commonly grown throughout Asia. The small sour, juicy fruits are orange when ripe. The juice is high in vitamin C, great for your health, and can be used in many recipes.

Refreshing Calamansi-ade:

Ingredients (for 1 serving)

  • 5 calamansi, cut in half in the middle

  • 2 Tablespoons sugar

  • 1 cup water

  • ¼-½ cup of ice

You will also need a small strainer to remove the seeds

Instructions

  1. Squeeze the juice into a glass using a strainer.

  2. Add sugar and water, stir until the sugar is dissolved.

  3. Add the ice and enjoy! Only 93 calories a serving.
