Zach Mermel - Born and raised on Hawai’i Island, Zach is intimately familiar with the different microclimates and varied flora and fauna of our island home. He loves imbibing in his daily cup o’ māmaki tea.

Koh Ming Wei - Māmaki Ola farm & education. Conducting research on māmaki intercropping & optimal fertility practices to keep mamaki in leaf flush.

Wrenn Bunker - Integrated māmaki into his 6 acre family homestead in 2018, and began work as Shaka Teaʻs processing manager in 2020. His experience runs the gamut from planning, planting and maintenance, to post harvest processing.

Amjad Ahmad - Assistant Extension Agent. Sustainable & Organic Agriculture Program, Crop Diversity and variety Selection.
