This virtual training is open to students, teachers, school food service staff, administrators, farmers, policy makers, and other members of the farm to school movement on Hawaiʻi Island!

In this training, we will explore the new Hawaiʻi Farm to School Toolkit, with a focus on the Harvest of the Month and Food and Garden Safety components! The training will include a hands-on, COOKING demonstration with Edwin Naboa, the school food service at Kalanianaole Elementary & Intermediate, as well as a PLANTING demonstration with Jaime Lewis and Matt Mittermayer from Mountain View Elementary! Participants will receive a FREE ʻuala cutting and ingredients for an ʻulu and ʻuala salad recipe that we will cook together!
