A professional development training for teachers using the FEAST kit resources!
Teachers will:
Learn to use FEAST materials for place-based learning.
Teach lessons that develop knowledge about food and garden topics.
AUDIENCE: Teachers of Grades 3 - 5
Final Presentations on March 8
Learning Result Portfolios due April 1.
Participants will learn to use the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) crosscutting concepts (CCCs) to increase student sensemaking opportunities. Strategies will leverage communities and families as learning resources.
