ʻAi Pono (Righteous, Healthy Food)  Community Workshops 2017

Generously supported by the Atherton Family Foundation, each of these workshops will have a recipe, nutrition lesson, and a demonstration and tasting.  All of them will be held in Mālaʻai.

We have a limited space in each workshop.  The Workshops are free to WMS, WES and Kanu O Ka ʻAina school communities. There is a small fee for the rest of the community. We will post flyers on our website as they are available

 

Recent community events:

  • We hosted Kraut and Healthy Snack workshops in the garden this Spring.
  • We helped to host the Hokule’a Send off Celebration at the Kahilu town Hall on April 12th in support of our local voyagers who are Captain, Navigator and Crew for the last leg of the World Wide Voyage.
  • Learning to Navigate the Hawaii School Garden Curriculum Map. The 4 day teacher training in Pahoa, at HAAS, was a real success with 20 wonderful teachers committed to growing the school garden movement.
